Carol
Marshall
Carol Marshall was also a great Hospice volunteer for many
years. She worked in the office, helped with fund raising and
patient care. She loved people and was accepting of anyone
and everyone. Her personal love was of animals of which she had many. Carol passed away May 26th at the Hospice
House with her husband Richard and mother Vera Cronk at her side.

Lorry
Hengstebeck
Lorry Hengstebeck was a special volunteer. She did
some patient care but mostly helped with fund raising. She never missed a chance to sell roses because that
gave her a chance to talk with her friends as they came by. Lorry had made arrangements to come to the Hospice
House but her lung condition improved a couple of years
ago and she no longer qualified for Hospice care. Lorry passed suddenly on May 29th in her own assisted living
apartment.

Jean
Edgerly
Jean Edgerly was a dedicated volunteer for many
years. She worked on mailings, answered phones, did fund raising and provided patient care. I remember one
day a Hospice family had an emergency and called for a volunteer. I called Jean and she dropped everything and
went to be with the patient. That was Jean, always willing
and ready to help whenever possible. Jean passed away April 22, 2009 at the Hospice House. She leaves
behind her devoted husband Gaylord and children Helen Simms, Sue Lutterloh, Jeff Cook, Karen Jones, and
Gailen Edgerly.

...if I go while you’re still here...
know that I live on vibrating to a
different measure behind a thin
veil you cannot see through.
You will not see me, so you must
have faith.
I wait for the time when we can soar
together again, both aware of each
other.
Until then, live your life to its fullest,
and when you need me, just whisper
my name in your heart...I will be there.
